The traction surface is composed of a heavy textured weave designed for greater control and aim and is especially useful when dealing with tight-turns and flick-shots, specifically targeted at first-person shooters.

At 400mm x 300mm x 3mm, the Sades Skadi Medium Mouse Pad is large enough for effective use but no so overly large that it takes up an entire desk. The unit is highly flexible and can be rolled up without fear of damage making transporting easy, a big plus for LAN goers.

The non-slip base is made from rubber which adds a great amount of durability to the actual pad, making it washable and easy to clean, another plus for gamers that take their gear with them.

The only problem I experienced with my demo model of this mouse pad was that the anti-fray stitching around the edges of the pad was not ended off correctly. The stitching is secure however there is an unsightly thread that rather ruins the professional look of the unit.
